Mr. Ramon Correa Alvarado, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, September 24, 2009 at Memorial Health Care in Chattanooga Tennessee. Ramon was born June 22, 1950 to the late Salvador Alvarado and Guadalupe Correa. Ramon was pre deceased by his wife Teresa Rodriguez. He is survived by his sons, Rafael Alvarado, Dalton GA, Jose Alvarado; daughter Maria Alvarado both of Rocky Face, GA; brothers, Guillermo Alvarado, Moses Alvarado, Mario Alvarado all of Mexico, David Alvarado, California; sisters, Genevieve Alvarado, Josefina Alvarado, Martha Alvarado, Maria Alvarado, Guadalupe Alvarado and Claudia Alvarado all of Mexico; 4 grandchildren. Services to celebrate the life of Ramon Alvarado will be held on Saturday morning, September 26 at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home at 11:30 AM. with Father Juan Oliveros officiating. He will be laid to rest at Colonial Hills Memorial Park next to his beloved wife. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 9 PM at Ponders Funeral Home.
