Larry Leon Walker, age 54, died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at his home in Mustang after a long illness. He was born June 13,1955 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Walter P. and Beatrice (Mitchell)Walker and grew up in Yukon and Cashion. He was a graduate of Cashion High School and he studied engineering at Platt College in Oklahoma City. He served his country for 6 years in the us Army. He worked for nearly thirty years fo United Engines starting as a mechanic and working up to district service manager before illness forced his retirement earlier this year.. He was a member of Mustang Church of the Nazarene. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Letha of the home, two sons Robert W. Jorgenson and wife Lisa of Guthrie, John L. Jorgenson and wife Staci of Moore, Two daughters Nena Gately and husband Joe of Tuttle and Marilyn Rose and husband Tim of Mustang. Also by nine grandchildren,two great-grandchildren, one brother Geary Walker and wife Colleena of Noble and one sister Valerie Marchant and husband Rick of Guthrie.



He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
