Mrs. Artie G., a native of Titus, AL and a resident of Daphne died on Thursday, May 22, 1986 in a local hospital. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 383 Daphne, also a member of the Fairhope United Methodist Church. She is survived by 2 sons: Herbert (Gene) E. Cooper Jr. and Robert (Bobby) Cooper both of Daphne; 2 sisters: Clara Harden of Titus, AL, Allene Edwards of Daphne; 2 brothers: O. Howard Edwards of Mobile; and W. Gordon Edwards of Troy; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 24, 1986 at 10 a.m. at the Bayview Chapel with Dr. Francis Wilson officiating. Interment was in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Bayview Funeral Home Fairhope chapel.
