2nd child of Seaborn M. and Sidney S. (Burdette) Denson. She married Mitchell Blake in Cleburne County AL on January 12, 1896. There were 7 children born to this union; Beatrice Sidney (born and died in 1898), Ila Octavia (1900-1972), Henry Thomas (1904-1918), Lila Vivian (1908-1998), Mildred Mitchell (1911-1982), Gladys Edwinna (1914-1989 (approx), and Miriam Elizabeth (1916-1997). She died during the 1918 Influenza Epidemic and was buried in the Blake Family Cemetery.
