Frank J. Towle, veteran of both the Spanish-American and the First World War, died of a heart attack last night at the Cohoes Elk's Club. An examination was preformed by Dr. A. M. Breault and Coroner Philip Morrissey, St.; said death was due to natural causes.


Born in Cohoes, he had resided here most of his life. He was well known throughout the area as a typewriter salesman, having managed the Albany office of a large typewriter concern for many years. During the World War he was a Commissary Sergeant in the 27th Regiment. He was a charter member of both Cohoes Counsil, Knights of Columbus, and Cohoes Lodge of Elks. Mr. Towle was also a member of Collins-Ross Camp, U.S.W.V
