Willard Cropp, 77, Knox RD Man, Dies
Knox -- Willard Cropp, 77, formerly of Knox RD, a retired farmer and oil lease operator, died at 6:20 p.m. Monday in the Clarview Home at Sligo RD.
He was born May 15, 1899, at Cropps Cormer, Knox RD 1, a son of William F. and Maude Knappenberger Cropp, and lived his entire life at Cropps Corner until 1969, when he went to Clarview.
Mr. Cropp was a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ at Monroe and a member of the Monroe Community Club.
He is survived by several cousins.
His father died December 26, 1964 and his mother died April 24, 1968.
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at the William N. Rupert Funeral Home in Knox, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Rev. Eli Fabian, pastor of St. Mark Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark Cemetery at Monroe.
