Although I received information indicating Johannes' surname is spelled incorrectly on his tombstone I have opted to keep the tombstone spelling. Many immigrants intentionally anglicized their surnames so the spelling on the tombstone may have been correct at the time of his death. There are variations of the Wurmle surname in this cemetery.
