Charles Owen Camp, III, age 74, of Smith's Ferry, PA, passed away at The Medical Center, Beaver following a brief illness.
He was a son of Charles O and Ethel Gibson Camp Jr. Living his entire life in this area, Bo retired in 1982 from the former Crucible Steel Mill in Midland where he worked for 32 years in the cold strip as a slitter.
He was a member of the Smith's Ferry United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the US Army serving in Berlin, Germany, with the horse platoon of the Military Police.
He was past president of Glasgow Boro Council, serving on the council for several years, a Democratic committeeman, a member of American Legion Post 481 in Midland, an avid golfer, and a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Camp; a sister, Shirley Carpenter; and a granddaughter, Kristin Marie Camp.
