She was born June 4, 1920, in Livermore, a daughter of the late William and Nellie (Dawes) Carter.
Aggie was educated in Anson and Madison and graduated from Madison High School in 1940. In 1941 she married Stanley Adams and they made their home in Starks.
Mildred "Micky" Adams and Dorothy "Dot" Soule; and a nephew, David Adams.
She is survived, and will be greatly missed by, a sister, Leona "Nonnie" Quimby of Norridgewock; several cousins; and several nieces and nephews, many of who thought of her as a second mother.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison with Pastor Timothy Haynes officiating. (Morning Sentinel 9/27/2009)
