MRS. AUGUSTA SINGLETERRY

Funeral services were held Feb. 8 at Fox Funeral Chapel for Mrs. August Singleterry, 77, of Davis. The Rev. Jim House officiated, with arrangements by Fox Funeral Home. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Singleterry was born July 2, 1908 at Woodland, OK and died Feb. 6. She had lived in this area all her life. She married Jim Singleterry May 6, 1928 at Davis. He preceded her in death in 1952.

Survivors include one daughter, Grace Singleterry of the home; one son, James Nelvin Singleterry of Moore; three sisters, Josie Herron of Davis, Roxie Kellum of Dallas and Hettie Farris of Clinton; four brothers, Roscoe, Dick and Hershel Digby, all of Davis and Alfred Digby of Dallas, and one grandson, Glen McLain of Vernon, TX. She was preceded death by an infant daughter, Linda Gail.

Pallbearers were Tommy Digby, Jack Allison, H. L. Digby, jr.; Dean Digby, Ricky Digby and Charles Digby.
