Funeral services for William Emmett Stephenson, 70, of the Alma community, were held in the Fox Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Hallum, pastor of the church officiated.
Burial was in Green Hill cemetery at Davis, under direction of Bahner funeral home.
Mr. Stephenson was born at Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and had been a resident of the Alma community the past 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, of the home address; two daughters, Mrs. E. D. Farris and Mrs. H. T. Prough, both of Alma; four sons, W. W. and E. H. Stephenson of Hugo; A. E. Stephenson, McMan, and R. H. Stephenson, Alma; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Holland, Mt. Pleasant; three half-brothers, E. F. Stephenson, Jefferson, Texas; J. M. and J. R. Stephenson of Mt. Pleasant; a half-sister, Mrs. Bessie Watson, Cotter, Ark., 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
