Funeral for Ben Halford Kirby, 57, of Route 3 Decatur will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Parham Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Gardens of Memory.
Mr. Kirby died Tuesday at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lorene Kirby; one son, Carl Kirby of Decatur; one daughter, Lowandy Gentry of Kalamazoo, Mich; one brother, Andrew Kirby of Decatur, Mich; one sister, Mary Tinkel of Mario, Ind; one stepson, Ricky Cottingim of Trinity; one stepdaughter, Patty Jordan of Decatur; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ron Jordan, Chris Jordan, Samuel Lewis, Samuel Lewis Jr, Robert Parham and Paul Barnside.
