He was born Aug. 11, 1916, in Salem to Frank Wolfe and Dora Ellen Carter Wolfe. He was the husband of Nadine Darling Hardy Wolfe. He was the father of two sons, Jerry Lynn of Casey and Fred of Tuscola & two daughters, Linda Dowmen of Sadoris and Peggy Odle of Rawlins, Wyo.He was the stepfather of Randy Hardy of Pigeon Forge, TN., Sandra Yocum and Brenda Padrick of Toledo, IL; He was the brother of Leon Easton of Houston and Wayne Easton of Michigan City, IN. He was the stepbrother of Lola Farrell of Casey and Hazel Canniff of Oshkosh, WI. Fred was a retired pipefitter.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5762 and East Central Illinois Pipefitters Local 149.
Services were Friday, Sept.28 in Markwell Funeral Home with the Rev.Hugh Smith officiating. Cemetery rites by Post 5762.
