Guinn Gatlin was born December 18, 1936 in Navarro County, Texas and passed from this life on November 2, 2003 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mr. Gatlin was preceded in death by his parents: Herschel and Ruth Gatlin (Holloway) and his youngest son: Paul Aaron Gatlin.

Mr. Gatlin is survived by sons (from oldest to youngest):
Richard Guinn Gatlin and his wife Susan
Donny Wayne Gatlin and his wife Debbie
Brian Keith Gatlin
Mike Gatlin and his wife Janie
and Daughter Rhonda Kaye Parker (Gatlin) and her husband Dennis....

Fifteen Grandchildren: (at this time included):
Brandi M. Gatlin and little brother Ricky
Lacey Celeste Gatlin and little sister Amber Dee
Chad Aaron Gatlin and sister Laura
Candace Shea Cox and younger brothers Brenton Cullen Cox, Dylan Parker, and Vince Parker
Jessica Gatlin and little sisters Elizabeth and Audrey

Josie Jara (Brandi's Daughter), Anthony Aaron (Lacey's son), Lauryn Ashleigh Whatley (Amber's Daughter), Chase Allen Whatley (Amber's son)

as well as a host of nieces,nephews and friends. Guinn Gatlin was retired from the City of Dallas' Water Department (Public Works) where he worked for many years. Visiation held Wednesday, November 5, 2003 from 12:00(noon) until 9:00 PM at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home off of 635/Lake June in Mesquite. Services will be Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 2:00 PM in the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in the Garden of Hope section.

He was and still is very loved by many. Rest in Peace...our Daddy, our Papa, our friend.
