He was born Jan. 7, 1907, in Snover, the son of Arthur and Anna K. (Brown) Meredith. He married Pearl Rockwell Sept. 22, 1934, in Peck. She died June 21, 1993. He was a farmer.
He is survived by 2 sons, Alvin (Jane) Meredith, and Dale (Marcia) Meredith, of Snover. Three daughters, Ann Powell of Troy; Loraine Hill of Sandusky, and Ruth (Frank) Klee of Minden City; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clark Meredith, and one sister, Marie Meredith.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 29, at Hacker Funeral Parlors, Sandusky. Pastor Basel Curtiss of Sandusky officiated.
Burial was in the Elkland Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
