MRS. W. A. ANDERSON DIES IN INDIANAPOLIS
Funeral Services at Edinburg Wednesday – Burial in Rest Haven

EDINBURG, April 11 – Mrs. Elizabeth J. Anderson, age 74, died Monday at the home of her son, Richard E. Anderson, 1029 South Belle Vieu Place, Indianapolis. Mrs. Anderson had been in failing health for about a year and had been at the home of her son since last fall.

The body was brought to the Farr & Gosney Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be made in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Brown County October 28, 1858, the daughter of James D. and Eliza Smith. She was married to William A. Anderson in 1876, who preceded her in death about one year ago. She was a resident of Edinburg for many years.

In early womanhood Mrs. Anderson united with the New Bethel Anderson Church in Brown County where she retained her membership.

Surviving are three sons, Richard E. and Charles W. Anderson of Indianapolis and three daughters, Mrs. Mary Hamblen, Franklin; Mrs. Alice Smith, Edinburg; Mrs. Reba Lorentz, Danville, Ill. One sister, Mrs. Eunice Taylor, Elkhart and five brothers Stantan Smith, Nineveh, Elijah Smith, Edinburg, Albert Smith, Brown County, Charles Smith, Indianapolis, and Wilbur Smith, Elkhart also survive.
