Webber Woman Dies At Concordia

Mrs. Nettie Rice of Webber, passed away Jan. 13, in a hospital at Concordia, Kan. She was a daughter of George and Abigail Beebe, and was born at Cuba, Kan., Feb. 23, 1873.

Her parents moved to Jewell county (sic) where she grew to womanhood, and where she was united in marriage to Daniel Fuller on March 10, 1891. They established their home on a farm five miles north of Hardy where their two sons, Vernie F. and Jessie L were born. In 1905 they purchased a farm south of Hardy and lived there until Mr. Fuller's death in 1916. Lois Blanch Queen made her home with them from 1906 until her marriage to Orlie Bolles of McCook.

On Jan. 19, 1928 she was married to Andrew C. Rice. They made their home on a farm until they retired and moved to Webber.

Mrs. Rice was a member of the Rebekah lodge and united with the Methodist church a number of years ago. She was a kind, devoted mother, and always helpful to anyone in time of need.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing two sons and their wives, two brothers, seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of friends.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the Denny Funeral home in Superior, Rev. Nina Andersen of Webber officiating. Interment was in the Hardy cemetery (sic).
