Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Aline Thompson; son, Larry Thompson (Carol); daughters, Carolyn Richardson (John) and Elaine Norman (Paul); sister, Pearline Tuberville; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee, is directing.
