Hallie Jeanette Hendrix, 73, of Cherokee, died Friday, June 18, 2004. Mrs. Hendrix was a native of Colbert County and a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mabel Borden, and her brother, Doris Borden.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Hendrix, of Cherokee; son, Danny G. Hendrix and wife, Sandi; sisters, Sue Halliburton and Shirley Joyner; grandchildren, April Hope Grisham and Amber Faith Rhodes and husband, Mike, all of Cherokee, Ala.

Pallbearers will be Randy Halliburton, Marshall Borden, Shon Turberville, Dwight Borden, Mike Rhodes and Lanny Wright.Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee, is directing.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, June 20, 2004, at Harris Chapel Baptist Church, with Brother Morris Kennedy, Dr. Jeff Davis and Brother Henry Trull officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
