HENRY COOK DROPPED DEAD
Heart Disease Given as Cause of Death
Henry Cook dies suddenly at his home in Oregon Township yesterday. He was about his home in usual health when suddenly he threw up his hands to his head and fell to the floor. Members of the family rushed to him, but life was extinct in a few minutes.
Mrs. Cook was away from home at the time of his death, being on a visit to her daughters at Warren, Ind. Coroner Faber was called and is of the opinion that death was due to heart disease.
Mr. Cook was a highly esteemed resident of the East Side and vicinity. He leaves a widow, seven daughters, Mrs. Bernard Reeves, Mrs. Charles Black, Mrs. John Gardner of Warren, Ind; Mrs. Charles Munday, Mrs. Joseph Wiser and Misses Flora and Mina, of the East Side; and two sons, Clyde and Harvey, the four last-named children living at home. The deceased man was a brother of Mrs. Amos Crane and Mrs. Sarah Brown. He was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of Ford Post. G.A.R. The funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it is probable that the service will be held Thursday.
