Funeral services for Mr. Wilson Odell Dye, 79, were held Wednesday, November 30, 1994 at 10 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Reynolds officiating.


Interment followed in Kilborne Cemetery for Mr. Dye who passed away Monday, November 28 in Oak Grove. Services were under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.


Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Velma Dye, of Oak Grove; four sons, Clyde Fairchild, of Lowell, Arkansas; Tyron Dye, of Huntsville, Alabama; Gary Dye, of Lexington, Mississippi; and Gene Dye, of Oak Grove; two daughters, Sheila Parker, of Oak Grove and Linda Hayes, of Huntsville, Alabama; one half-brother, Lamar Frith, Oak Grove; six sisters, Roma Ragland of Downsville; Merleen McCaskell, Emily McAllister and Norma Townsend, all of Oak Grove; Louise Coleman, of Calhoun and Nellie McCoy, of Oak Grove; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five step sisters, Letha Dukes, of Transylvania; Mervel Prisock, of Forest; Mabel Harvey, of Lake Providence; Willie Lee Weems, of Darnell; and Dorothy Vining, of Ft. Valley, Georgia; two step brothers, Junior Frith, of Transylvania and James Frith, of Oak Grove.


Grandsons served as pallbearers.
