Laurie loved to sing and play guitar, performing in small clubs throughout her life. She never met someone who didn't instantly become her friend, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for those she cared about. She had a quick wit and tremendous sense of humor.
She is survived by her three sisters, Shannon Allen LeDoux of Moss Bluff, Danielle Allen and Melissa Allen Jeffers of Sulphur, as well as her brother, Barry Butler of Midlothian, TX.; stepfather, Walter Allen; nieces and nephews, Joshua LeDoux, Kelsea Allen, Caleb Langley, Kyle Langley, and Amber and Alex Butler; Aunt Ozell Phillips and cousin, Loretta Rawley of Austin, Texas; and her best friend, Rebecca S. Young.
