CHARLES F. TOLAND
Charles Franklin Toland, 70, died this morning at his home 1922 Green street (sic). He was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1931, following forty-three years' service as a passenger engineer in the Philadelphia Division. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Firemen and Enginemen, No. 174, Pennsylvania Railroad Relief, and of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mary L., and three brothers, Edward, Samuel and John, all of Duncannon. Services will be held Thursday at 11 o'clock at the Charles C. Baker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Chester Simonton, pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Paxtang Cemetery. Friends may call at the parlors tomorrow night after 7 o'clock.
