Champlain Hastings Castle was born on July 24, 1911, the younger of two sons of Lewis and Ida (Silgman) Castle. He enlisted in the a US Army shortly after Dec. 7, 1941 and served in the European Theater. He married Genevieve Debbora Parsons on September 18, 1943 in San Francisco. They were the parents of 4 children. Gen died on October 15, 1967. Champ married Alma Mayer on December 19, 1970.

He has a cenotaph in the cemetery where Gen is buried.

C. H. CASTLE

Champlain H. Castle, 60, of Route 1, Brownsville, co-owner of H. W. Brown Lumber Co. at North Lake, Wis., died at noon Thursday at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was born July 24, 1911, at South Milwaukee, a son of Lewis and Ida Silgmann Castle. He married Alma Mayer on Dec. 19, 1970 at St. John's Catholic Church, Byron. Mr. Castle was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters; two sons; and a brother, Ormal, address unknown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernst Dreher officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Church Cemetery at Lomira.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
