Larry E. Anderson 57, died Monday July 22, 1996 at his home 2211 New Hampshire.

Funeral services will be at Riley funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Joe Meirer, Steve Schnedler, Ted Griffith, Mike Cardenas and Ernie Yerington. Burial will be at the Island Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 14, 1939, at Council Bluffs , the son of Mayo E. and Inez Mae Howe Anderson. He lived most of his life in Muscatine.

He married May Jo Foor Terry on May 2, 1980 in Muscatine.

He was employed at Union Tank where he was called "the old man".

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo, one son Richard Anderson of Coralville, two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Kathy Jo) Schnedler of Muscatine, and Mrs. Ted (Lisa Marie) Griffith of West Liberty, his mother Inez Anderson of Council Bluffs, six grandchildren, Brittany Anderson, Coralville, Laura, Randy, and Kady Schnedler of Muscatine, and Aaron and Jeremy Griffith of West Liberty, one great grandaughter, Samantha Jo Schnedler of Muscatine, three sisters, Barbara Hunter of Sandy, Ore., Mrs. Charles (Beverly) Hite of Omaha, Neb., and Mrs. John (Kathleen) Reynolds of Phoenix Ariz.

His father and two brothers preceded him in death.
