Born in Farmington,NY, January 3,1878,she was the daughter of Mr. Joseph and Rebecca Gleason Barckley. She had been a resident of Cortland for the past 32 years. She was a member of the First Universalist Church and the Ladies' Aid Society of that chruch.
She is survived by her husband,Harry Peters, one daughter, Miss Mildred Peters of Cortland; and two grand children, Natalie and Arleeta Peters of Marathon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Earle W. Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Roy J Hatt, pastor of the Universalist Church, officiating Interment will be in the Cortland Rural Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
