Cody was a 2006 graduate of Tullahoma High School. He was active in the band and drama club.
He attended Motlow State Community College and was employed by Home Depot in Winchester.
He was a member of the Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
On July 4, 2009 Cody passed away after fighting a courageous battle with a brain tumor.
Visitation with the Cody's family was on 5:00-9:00 PM Monday Evening, July 6.
Cody's funeral service was 3:00 PM Tuesday, in the Chapel of Grant. Officiating was done by; Rev. Jonathan Clark, Dr. Hubert Hester and Rev. Elizabeth Ferguson.
Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
