Born in East Mauch Chunk,Fritz was the son of William F Kattner and the late Mary E (Holpit) Kattner.

He was employed by the Philadephia.Bethlehem and New England Railroad as a brakeman for Bethlehem Steel Corp.

He was a member of St.Joseph Catholic Church,Jim Thorpe.Frederick was a Navy veteran of the Korean War serving aboard the USS Takelma.

He is survived by his wife and father,two daughters;Susan and Lisa,brothers William,Francis,Bernard and James.He was preceded in death by his mother and infant sister Mary Elizabeth,

Frederick will be buried with full Military Honors.
