August Berg Rites

NESHKORO — Five grandsons
and a nephew acted as pallbear-
ers for August Berg, 84, whose fu-
neral was held Thursday at the
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The pallbearers were Edward,
Arthur, Clifford, Franklin and Rus-
sell Berg, all grandsons and a
nephew, Arthur Zuelke.
The Rev. Martin Huebner of-
ficiated and burial was in the
Neshkoro Cemetery.
Mr. Berg died Monday at St.
Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac,
where he had been since Satur-
day.
Surviving are his wife, Mary,
five sons, Arnold, La Crosse; Her-
bert, Racine; Fred, Arbie and Ed-
ward, Neshkoro; four daughters,
Mrs. Hilda Weisharr, Ripon; Dor-
othy, Margaret and Adeline, all of
Ripon; two sisters, Mrs Alvina
Woodrich, Wautoma and Mrs.
Clara Lynch, Ripon. Several grand-
children and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Berg was preceded in death
by four children.
The Wachholz Funeral Home,
Princeton, was in charge of ar-
rangements.
