. Carl E. Aber, 72, Hillsboro, died Tuesday at Greenfield Area Medical Center.
. Born Aug. 26, 1916 in Dodsonville, he was the son of Leonard and Ruth (Pfister) Aber.
. He was a veteran of WW II and a memberr of VFW Post No. 9094 Hillsboro.
. He is survived by two grandchildren, Mrs. Randy (Candy) Roberts and Edward Aber, both of Hillsboro; and seven great-grandchildren.
. He was preceded in death by one son, Edward Aber.
. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by VFW Post no. 9094.
. Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
