BERTIE AYCOCK MCGEE
1911 - 2009

Bertie McGee was born on January 6, 1911 in Cottondale, FL and passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009. She had resided in Pensacola for most of her life and was a fifty-year member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 252. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Preceded in death are her parents, John and Etta Sapp; husbands, Claude Aycock and William Thomas McGee; sister, Neatie Wood; brothers, Brown Sapp, Doyle Sapp and Mack Sapp; and four nephews.
Survivors include her three sisters-in-law, Mandy Sapp, Ida Sapp and Grace Sapp; eight nieces; three nephews; and step-son, William Thomas McGee, Jr. Mrs. McGee will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2009 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home until the Eastern Star service begins at 10:45 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Ralph Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
