Shirley May Adams, age 72, New Munich, MN died Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at St. Benedict's Care Center, St. Cloud, MN.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 20, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Munich, MN. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, New Munich, MN. Arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Shirley Adams was born December 13, 1931 in New Munich, MN to Theodore P. and Veronica (Briol) Adams. Shirley was employed as a corporate insurance consultant for Alexander and Alexander, Sedgewick and James and Wells Fargo Insurance. She was also involved with the American Cancer Society. Shirley was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of New Munich.

Survivors include a daughter, Marguerite A. Jackson of Buffalo, MN; brothers and sisters, Howard (Lois) Adams of New Munich, MN; Harvey Adams of New Munich, MN; Lorraine (Bill) Young of Lakeland, FL; Linda (Barry) Cook of Palm Springs, CA; Doris (Bruce) Samuelson of New Munich, MN; and two grandsons, Joshua David Jackson and Matthew Stephen Jackson.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Floyd Adams.

Memorials are preferred.
