Louise R. Cubilla, 81, passed peacefully Sept. 27, 2009, in Jacksonville. She was born in Parmele, N.C., to Paul C. and Valeria R. Wildman. She enjoyed spending her time cooking, sewing, and most of all, caring for her loving family. Louise was predeceased by her devoted husband of 54 years, Pete and her brother, Cecil Wildman. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two loving sons, Paul (Vanessa) Cubilla of Jacksonville, Larry (Joanna) Cubilla of Norfolk; granddaughters, Logan and Ashley of Jackonsville; brother, Paul D. (Joan) Wildman of Virginia Beach; sister, Virginia D. (Donald) Stovall of Tampa, Fla. Louise also leaves behind many treasured friends in her Al-Anon and Nar-Anon families. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff of All Saints Nursing Facility for the special care given to Louise. A celebration of her life will be held Oct. 10, 2009 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1500 Sewells Point Road, Norfolk, at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's research at www.alzfdn.org. Arrangements are entrusted to Hardage Giddens Mandarin Chapel, (904) 288-0025.
