Nobility. Duke of Calabria and eldest son of King Robert I "le Bon" of Naples and Jerusalem and Yolande of Aragon. He was married twice; first to Katharina of Habsburg and then to Marie de Valois. From his second wife he had four children, including queen Joanna I. The funerary monument by Ting di Camain, with a sarcophagus depicting the Duke as Vicar General of Sicily. A wolf and a lamb peacefully drinking from the same spring are depicted at his feet.
