Paul was born 11 December 1904 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Sara Evelyn Rice and Oscar Linn Miller. He spent his life in Harrisburg except for the 3 years he served in Teheran, Iran in the United States Army 730th Military Railway Service. On 24 December 1928, he was united in marriage to Alta Mae Davis. He was the father of two daughters, Jane Ann and Kathy Hope Miller. He had one brother, Ralph Lemuel Miller who along with their parents and Paul is buried in Shoop's Cemetery. (JMB)

Paul's wife, Alta Mae Davis Miller (1907 - 2001), upon her death and at her request, was cremated and her ashes were scattered in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Hatteras Island, North Carolina.
