Kelcey Ray Abbott was born May 1, 1987 to Ray and Norma Abbott in Pierre, SD. He attended school at Buchanan Elementary, Georgia Morse Middle School and Riggs High School, graduating in 2006.
In June in 2006, he attended American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona, Fl, graduating in November of 2006. He worked for a short time at Petersen Motors.
For the past three years, he was employed by the State of South Dakota Game Fish and Parks.
He was proud to be a Cub Scout and Boy Scout reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in 2005. He loved the outdoors, motorcycle riding, camping, playing cards, being with family and friends. His life was full of laughter, and had a lot of love for children. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandparents on their ranch in Montana.
He is survived by his parents Ray & Norma Abbott, Sister Misty Abbott and nephew Kingston Ray of Chilliwack, BC, grandparents Christena Abbott, Pierre, Norman and Doris Turnbough, Broadus, MT, aunts and uncles Harold Blumhardt, Pierre, Andy & Grace Fields, Pierre, Rick & Carmen Turnbough, Broadus, MT, Dalonda Carter, Harold, SD, Randy & Lori Turnbough, Broadus MT and numerous cousins.
