HENRY V. DOLPH
Henry V. Dolph, 78, died Monday in San Diego.
He was born in Portland Dec. 22, 1881, and went to San Diego in 1915 as a construction inspector for four years. In 1932, he returned to Portland and for 13 years was property manager for the First National Bank. He returned to San Diego in 1946, where he lived at the time of his death.
He was a member of Portland Lodge No. 55 AF & AM.
His father was Joseph N. Dolph, who was twice a U.S. senator from Oregon and was appointed Federal district attorney by President Abraham Lincoln.
Services will be Friday at 2:30 in Finley's Rose Chapel. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Elizabeth, San Diego.
