ALLISON - MATHEW D., aged 74, passed away at his home, 1721 Mitchell avenue, at an early hour Sunday morning.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dora Allison; two daughters, Mrs. T. R. Simpson and Mrs. Carl Cowden; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Hughes, Chattanooga, and Mrs. Margaret Sheerer, of Crossville, and two brothers, J. L. Allison, of Eagle Cliff, Ga., and F. E. Allison, of Chattanooga.
Funeral services, conducted by the Revs. R. R. Denny and Bartow McFarland, will be held from the chapel of the National Funeral home this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Pallbearers will be W. C. Morrison, J. R. Owings, Joe Light, J. F. Burk, J. R. Deakins and W. A. Deakins. Interment will be in Chattanooga Valley cemetery, Eagle Cliff, Ga. Arrangements by the National Funeral home.
