Emma was born Oct. 23, 1930, in Strawn, the daughter of Fred and Helen Stanford Adam. She was a graduate of Strawn High School and employed by Central Soya in Gibson City and Indianapolis, Ind., for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Adam.
Emma attended Church of Christ, Fairbury, and was very active in Governor Thomas Ford Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, where she served as vice regent and public relations chairperson. She had a special bond and enjoyed spending time with her great-granddaughter, Summer, who will miss her "Grandma" Emmy greatly.
