Richard was born in Fairview, Mont. He moved to Siskiyou County in 1919 from Oregon. He was a railroad engineer for Southern Pacific Railroad for 34 years. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during WW II in the Pacific Fleet. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Dunsmuir. He loved bowling, cars, music, traveling, and he loved his family.
Richard is survived by his wife Dorothy Lamb of Dunsmuir; his step sons, Mike, John and David Delgado; his step daughter Patricia Delgado; his brother Eugene Lamb of Weed; and his sister Helen Reynolds of Mount Shasta.
A private graveside service will be held at the Mt. Shasta Memorial Park. The Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
