Keighley Ann Alyea, 18, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away September 30, 2009. Keighley was a very spirited, kind hearted young lady, who never met a stranger. Her personality could light up a room. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Our angel has been called home to be with god, and may now rest in peace. God bless you, Keighley.

Proceeded in death by her great grandfathers, Haden Kelley, John Hayes, Albert Wake. Survivors include, mother, Kelley M. and husband Paul Bastel, Sunrise Beach, Mo.; father, Pat Hayes, Merriam, Kan.; siblings, Cortney, Brittaney, Joseph, and Zackary; grandparents, Margo and Donald Alyea, Donna and Robert Bastel, Sharon L. Woods, James Hayes; great grandparents, Dorothy M. Kelley, Twanda F. Wake; uncles, Damon Alyea, Greg VanDyke, Chris VanDyke, Rick VanDyke, Ed Frentrop, Mike Frentrop; aunts, Deborah Pettit, Donna Fagan, Shelly Lusher, Rhonda Colgan; and numerous other family members.

Police have arrested 3 men in connection with Keighley's murder.

--, 18, has been convicted of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery as of 4-14-2010. The other two men are awaiting trial.
