Former Faribault Resident Is Dead
A.B. Bjugstad, an old Faribault resident, died very suddenly Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Van Hook, N.D.
He had been a resident of Faribault for 37 years and about twenty years ago moved to Shell Lake, Wis., with his family and was there engaged in farming most of the time.
In 1875 Mr. Bjugstad was foreman for a steam wood saw company, owned an operated by Fred Nussel; after which time he was engaged in the livestock business for fifteen years under the firm name of Alm & Bjugstad and later with Carver Bros. & Co.
Mr. Bjugstad was born in Vardahl Norway, in 1851. He is survived by his wife and nine children, five daughers and four sons. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
