Claude J Muellenbach, 65, of 2018 Broadway, New Holstein, died Saturday at his home of an apparent heart attack. He was born July 13, 1911, in Brothertown, a son of Nicholas and Katherine Steiner Muellenbach.

On November 24, 1932, he married the former Dorothy Schroeder at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Chilton. He was employed by the Chilton Metal Products Co. for 12 years, retiring in 1968. Mr. Muellenbach was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein, the New Holstein Senior Citizens and the machinest union at Chilton Metal Products. Co.

Survivors include his widow; five daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Carol) Christel, St. Nazianz; Mrs. Donald (Helen) Riesterer, Kiel; Mrs. Marvin (Diana) Meinnert, Sheboygan Falls; Mrs. Howard (Susan) Hofschild, Green Bay, and Miss Rita, Sheboygan; six sons, Erwin, Burlington, Kevin, Reedsville; Robert, Milwaukee; Richard and James both of New Holstein; and Allen, at home; 35 grandchildren and one great-grand daughter; three sisters; Mrs. Sylvester Rollmann, Chilton; Mrs. Glendon Libke, New Holstein; and Mrs. Vincent Woelfel, Phoenix, Ariz., and two brothers, Alfred, New Holstein, and Elmer, Chilton.
A son and a brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Rev. Ralph Hermsen, brief family rites will precede the service at 10:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer-Wieting Funeral Home, Chilton.

Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Chilton.
