H. G. Cribbs died at the home of his son, George, near Plumville, on Thursday, June 13, 1907, aged about 74 years. He had been in poor health for a number of years, being afflicted with paralysis and the general debility incident to old age.
He was well known and highly respected in that community, where he has lived for about 40 years. He conducted a store there for about 20 years.
He leaves besides a large circle of friends, one brother and two sisters, and six sons and two daughters as follows: L. A. Cribbs, of Pomona, Mich.; William T., Elmer, Christopher T., George A., Mrs. W. Hoover, and Mrs. A. Galentine, all of whom reside in Plumville, and James G., of Denton.
The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Smucker, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, of which the deceased was a member. Interment followed in Beracha cemetery.
