The funeral of Salena M. (Heffner), 73, wife of Charles A. D. Kohler, who died October 22nd at her home, 258 Wenz street, was held this afternoon at 2 at the Fritz and Kendall Funeral Home. Burial was in Hope cemetery.
Born in Greenwich township, she was a daughter of the late Willoughby and Maria (Leiby) Heffner, She was a Lutheran and a member of the Kutztown Fire Company Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Russell Leibensperger, Kutztown; Mrs. Sophy Scherch, Topton; and Nathan and Edgar Kohler, Wyomissing; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Aaron Heffner, Hamburg; and two sisters: Mrs. Emma Miller, Virginville; and Mrs. Milton Kercher, Hamburg.
