Porter--Ethel C. Abbate, 82, of Porter, died Monday at Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church, Porter with the Rev. Terry Millis officiating. Interment will be held at Porter Cemetery under the direction of Mallett Funeral Home.
She was born March 19, 1906 at Wesley, Arkansas. She had been a resident of Porter for the past 20 years and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Lola Parker of Porter; a half-brother, Bill Boyd of Owasso; two nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Abbate, June 6, 1983.
Pallbearers will include Mike Boyd, Bill Boyd, Pat Boyd, Coy Armstrong, Jeff Brown and Leroy Buster.
