Porter--Services for Thomas J. Abbate, 76, of Porter will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Porter First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hart officiating. Burial will be in Porter Cemetery with Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner in charge.

Pallbearers will be Pat Boyd, Mike Boyd, Bill Boyd, Charles Boyd, Bret Buster and Bart Buster.

Born Sept. 25, 1907, in Los Angeles, Calif., Abbate died Monday in a Coweta nursing home. He was a retired butcher and moved to the Porter area in 1970 from the Las Vegas, Nev., area. He spent his early years in California and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel, of the home; a son, Arthur, of Los Angeles; a brother, John, of Las Vegas; two grand-children; and a great-grandchild.
