Former Mayor Dies in Hospital Here
Arthur James Lee, 63, former mayor and justice of the peace of Price, Utah, died in a Salt Lake City hospital Thursday at 12:15 a.m., following a lingering illness.
Mr. Lee, a son of Edwin and Harriet Kindred Lee, was born at Springville, March 17, 1871. He had been prominent in business and politics and was a thirty-second degree Mason and a member of the Carbon Blue lodge. He married Mrs. Ida M. Leiter Lee February 3, 1896, at Springville.
Surviving are his widow, six children, J. Bracken and Robert E. Lee, Price; Arthur L. Lee, Oakmont, Pa.; Mrs. Flora Lee Nicholson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Alice Lee Rich, Jackson, Wyo., and Mrs. Ruth Lee Frazer, Evanston, Ill.; 12 grandchildren, one brother, Edwin C. Lee, Price; two sisters, Miss Harriet Lee, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Lucy Lee Emmons, Seattle, Wash.
