GRANT T. BERGQUIST, GROTON
Grant T. Bergquist, 74, Shirley Road, Groton, former superintendent of the Danielson Farm here, died Wednesday in the Nashoba Hospital, Ayer
He was born in Ayer, September 20th, 1902, the son of Emanuel and Emma (Tuttle) Bergquist and retired in 1972 after 50 years employment at the farm. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Amber (Hawksley) Bergquist; a stepson, Vinal B. Briggs; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Doris B. Philbrook of Ayer.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Badger Funeral Home, Groton. The internment will be the Woodland Cemetery, Ayer.
Calling hours are Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
