Son of Joseph and Wilhelmina (Kinast) Clementich. He grew up on the family farm in Renville County and in about 1916 he purchased it from them. He married Cecelia Keller on June 5th, 1923 in Saint Henry's Catholic Church near Foxholm. Cecelia died in 1942. Edward continued to farm until retiring in 1954 and moving to Minot.
